Current News

Starting in March 2008, Dean Abbey will be driving an IMCA Southern Sport Modified at area dirt tracks across Texas.  He will race a few select races in his Legends car, but insists he is putting all his efforts into the Sport Modified this season.  He is very excited to get back to grass roots, side-by-side racing action in the dirt.

Steven Abbey will continue running his INEX Legends car across the state of Texas.  This is his third year in the Pro division for this class of race cars so he will again be racing against the "best of the best" drivers across the nation.  He loves the exeleration of asphalt circle track racing.

Jeffrey Abbey will start his second season in his INEX Bandolero car where he is in the Bandit Divistion.  Jeffrey will primarily be racing at Texas Motor Speedway in Ft. Worth, Texas, Houston Motorsports Park, Houston, Texas and Lowes Motor Speedway, Charlotte, North Carolina.

Westin Abbey completed his first Bandolero race in Graham, Texas at the first dirt track race for the INEX Bandoleros in Texas.  He finished third in this event proving his brothers may need their"watch their back" if they don't want Westin to come up and beat them someday.  Westin enjoys going to the races and working on race cars; time will only tell if he will be as intrigued by circle track racing as his brothers.

Abbey Racing will be entered in a limited number of races this season.  Time constraints, other sports activities and financial issues have limited their ability to race on a regular weekly basis.  Please stay plugged in to abbeyracing.net to stay up to date with the race schedule they have planned.
